The mission of that highly attended annual event is to enhance the partnership between cities sharing the same heritage. During these conventions, the Mayors of the member cities of the League exchange experiences, compare working methods and open new perspectives for their municipalities.

In junction with the mayors' working sessions our organization holds a Symposium where the League's four Scientific Committees expose and debate on their latest discoveries and studies. Furthermore the League invites major researchers in the field to expose their work.

Our gathering takes place in one of the League's member cities every year and concentrates its round tables on a on specific theme.
